British Summer Time STB fail

The March 26th 2023 BST clock update was not reflected on the display of at least one TalkTalk Huawei DNT372 STB, despite a cold boot restart. It remains to be seen if it will pick up the right time, or if this is yet another example of the over complex Freeview platform that is impossible to test in every combination of circumstances. It this means the program guide remains an hour slow, the effect on recordings will be interesting... there appears to be no way to manually set the time on the STB, and no explanation of how and where it collects the system time. The internet router is showing the correctly updated time in its system logs.

We're aware that some TalkTalk TV & TalkTalk Plus TV Boxes have not automatically updated to British Summer Time (BST). This is causing an hour difference on TV programmes.

Youview released a software update overnight to resolve this issue. TV boxes that remained powered on/in standby and connected to a router will have automatically updated. If the time on your TV Box is still wrong by an hour, please perform a manual software update to update the time.
